MANILA, Philippines – Barangay Ginebra San Miguel defeated the NLEX Road Warriors, 111-75, at the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Japeth Aguilar led the Gin Kings with a double double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Greg Slaughter who scored 16 points. Yeng Guiao earlier named Aguilar and Slaughter among the 20 Gilas coaches.

Only NLEX player Aaron Fuller posted a double-digit production as he recorded 25 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 interceptions.

"WWhen Magnolia won earlier, we knew we had to go out and make sure we had this one too. We really need to win. We went out in the second half. We went out flat. There is no doubt that nervousness reigns there, "said Ginebra head coach Tim Cone.

The Gin Kings staged a semi-final clash with the Magnolia Hotshots, who eliminated Blackwater from the quarterfinals.
