The notice of appeal was quashed by the court because it had been filed while the motion for compensation after conviction was pending.
In the notice of appeal filed by Advocate General Lazaro, Marcos requested that the case be referred to the Supreme Court, where it would challenge the decision, which was "contrary to the facts, the law and the case law ".
In the court decision, she was sentenced to 6 to 10 years in prison for each of the 7 cases.
The court noted inconsistencies in the reasons why Marcos did not attend the promulgation of his case earlier this month.
Marcos previously insisted that she was not informed of the planned enactment, but added that she was not able to attend because of problems with health, the court said.
