June Mar Fajardo has not finished rewriting the story.

After breaking Danny Ildefonso's record almost 16 years ago for the best conference player award, the jolly giant is poised to become the only PBA player. At the end of the quarterfinals, Fajardo has a big lead in terms of average stats compared to Stanley Pringle's closest competitor.

Fajardo averages 29.6 points over the Philippine Cup and before the quarter-finals.

Globalport Pringle averaged 25.3 SP while Barangay Ginebra's Japeth Aguilar was third with 23.6 SP on average

Fajardo San Miguel teammates Arwind Santos, the 2013 MVP, and Alex Cabagnot were also in the top five of the MVP race

Santos is fourth with 23.4 SP average and Cabagnot is fifth with 22.0 average SPs.

And the Plum MVP is not the only trophy that Fajardo is winning, the best player of the Conference Award for the Commissaires Cup is also at hand.

Fajardo overtook Spaniard Vic Manuel, who was leading the race the last time the PBA released information earlier this month.

The center of San Miguel has 38.77 points in average after the quarter-finals of the Commissions Cup while Manuel has 37.58 points of average.

Fajardo, sixth in the league, wins the title of best player of the conference, his seventh reward gave him two more trophies than Ildefonso during his career of 17 years
