Xherdan Shaqiri misses and Jurgen Klopp announces the changes for the Champions League clash in Liverpool with Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes.

The Swiss striker falls on the bench while Klopp finds the formation 4-3-3 against the champions of France.

There are two changes to the team that won 3-0 at Watford on Saturday. Joe Gomez returns to Trent Alexander-Arnold's place and will start from the back right. Dejan Lovren keeps his place alongside Virgil van Dijk in the middle of the field.

James Milner also started, the vice-captain being preferred to Shaqiri.

Milner will be lined up in a midfielder with Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum. Once again, there is no room in the queue for summer recruits Naby Keita and Fabinho, who are both named among the submarines.

If Liverpool wins in Paris, they will qualify for the round of 16 with a game to lose as long as Red Star will not defeat Napoli.
