A 12-year-old girl who raised $ 160,000 for a risky operation by Charlie Teo will continue her fight against brain cancer overseas.

Amelia "Milli" Lucas will leave Perth for Germany this weekend, just weeks after the reputed neurosurgeon removed 98% of a brain tumor.

The other two percent will be treated by doctors in Bochum for four weeks, wrote Milli's mother on Facebook.

It is expected that the alternative treatment plan incorporates chemotherapy and hyperthermia.

She will then return to Perth for a brain scan to determine if the surviving tumor has been treated successfully.

Milli was operated on June 3rd after a major crowdfunding effort.

The risky operation could have left her paralyzed or even dead.
