MANILA, Philippines – A new country-focused innovation school is looking to open its doors to more students eager to put into practice the technological and business skills in demand in the Asian region, the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) said Wednesday.
Students who can not afford to pay their tuition fees can now enroll in the Aboitiz School of Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship student loan program. (ASITE) of AIM, following the donation of more than 500 billion pesos ($ 10 million) from the Aboitiz group.
In addition to assisting the school's student loan programs, the fund is also expected to enhance programs and degree-level activities and provide support to the faculty chairs at the school.

The president of the Aboitiz Foundation, Erramon I. Aboitiz, said this donation was made to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Aboitiz & Co. in 2020.
