The game saw the ejection of 9 players from Gilas Pilipinas and 4 Australians.
Australia finally won by default over Gilas Pilipinas, 53-89, while Gabe Norwood and June Mar Fajardo were wrong, leaving Baser Amer as the only Filipino player. The FIBA rules state that a team should have at least two players on the field for the game to continue.
