MANILA, Philippines – The Ateneo Blue Eagles of the Philippines quickly did the job of Lithuania, 98-65, to clinch their third consecutive victory at the 40th William Jones Cup in New Taipei on Friday, July 20.

The great men Angelo Kouame and Mike Nieto combined for 14 of 21 points in the team's second quarter to open a comfortable 43-28 lead at halftime.

Kouame scooped 19 markers with 5 boards in just 15 minutes.

Lithuania was not able to return on its laurels as the Eagles continued to float around the 30-point margin throughout the last period.

Zygimantas Jocys was the only Lithuanian double-digit with 20 points. of 3 rebounds and 2 assists
