Adamson made some quick work from Perpetual Help, 25-19, 25-18, 25-16, in the first women's match of the Collegiate Premier League Volleyball League 2018 Conference Saturday at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan.
Down 10-12 in the third set, the Lady Falcons opened a 15-4 bomb to seal the result.
"Our game was sloppy and messy.Our defense and the first ball were everywhere," said Airess Padda, Adamson's head coach.
Three consecutive errors of the Lady Altas gave Adamson the second place.
The Lady Falcons had 12 blocks while Perpetual had only four.
Eli Soyud delivered 17 points for Adamson while Chiara Permentilla added 13.
