Seven Serie A champions take the road after their first loss of the season

MILAN, Italy – Cristiano Ronaldo scored for Juventus after his midweek defeat of Manchester United in the Champions League, with a 2-0 win over AC Milan in Serie A on Sunday, Nov. 11, Gonzalo Higuain missing a penalty before being sent. off for the hosts.
Mario Mandzukic opened the scoring in the eighth minute of the match at San Siro. Ronaldo added a second in the 81st minute as Juventus kept its six-point cushion before the international break.
The seven-time Serie A champions are back on the track after their first loss to United after two goals behind, despite Ronaldo's superb recovery.
"Winning tonight was the only way to put away what had happened in the last 5 minutes of the Champions League," said Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri.
"It was important to win without conceding a goal and to take the advantage of six points over Napoli, who has an excellent championship."
