Most Galaxy S10 users love their phone, but many have complained about the fingerprint scanner. According to users and reviewers, the ultrasonic screen sensor can be slow and imprecise.
Last week, Samsung was also struck by claims that the fingerprint reader was not as secure. A researcher was able to work around take a picture of a fingerprint& nbsp; on a wineglass & nbsp; and make a 3D copy. For the S10 and S10 +, the update has only very limited notes, but it indicates that it is urgent and that the 6.9 MB download covers a "biometric security patch" and " fingerprints".
How can I get the update?
There is no way to apply it manually: the update appears to be staged and displayed through your phone's pop-up window through the Galaxy Store app. It is unclear if the update is about the ability to use a 3D fingerprint to unlock the device, but those who received it already say that it affected the speed of the scanner.
