MANILA, Philippines – On Tuesday, June 4, oil companies will record their biggest decline since the beginning of the year, as trade tensions dampen the outlook for demand in the international market.

Shell and Petro Gazz have announced that gasoline prices will fall by 1.70 pesos per liter and diesel prices by 1.05 pesos per liter.

Shell will also reduce P1 kerosene prices per liter. Petro Gazz does not carry kerosene.

The new rates will be applied at 6 am Tuesday. Other companies should follow the same rates.

Since the beginning of the year, the adjustments correspond to a net increase of USD 5.50 per liter for gasoline, EUR 4.70 per liter for diesel and 3% per liter for kerosene. – Rappler.com
