The rise, fall and rise of teenage queen Amanda Bynes

[ad_1]

Do you still remember Amanda Bynes? You know, that girl who was the face of Nickelodeon. She's been under the radar for a while now. The last time we heard about it was in 2013 when she had a breakdown and was even arrested for drugs. Many thought it would be the last straw of her career and that she was just another teenage star who took a rocky trail.

Today, the teenager queen OG (now 32 years old – time flew fast) is back via a Paper Magazine cover story and she is ready to make a name again. Amanda had her comeback worthy of Britney Spears, everyone!

As a person who watched Amanda's shows and some of her films, I'm obviously ecstatic. So, to celebrate this milestone, here's a quick look at its ups and downs, and then its rise over the years.

The 90s: Nickelodeon gal

Amanda's career had its first meteoric rise when she was pre-teen. She played for the first time in the comedy show Nickelodeon All that seasons 3 to 6. She was also one of the stars who has grown a lot Figure It Out.

In 1999, she had her own show titled Amanda's show where she played several characters and played alongside Drake Bell and Josh Peck. My favorite is Amanda as Penelope Taynt. Here is how funny she was:

Early & # 39; 00s: All Teen Movies

There is something about this era and the notoriety of teen movies. Amanda's first film was in Huge liar with Frankie Muniz. You can still see the comedy series of his children's show here. She then did She is the man alongside Channing Tatum. I'm not going to lie, I watched this film too much when I was younger. I would probably find him still funny if I saw him today.

Like other young stars, Amanda made music a little too much Hairspray, which is considered his most successful film of all time. The OST of the film was even nominated for the Grammy Awards.

Sydney White and Easy were two of the last movies she had worked on before taking a break. Both have been installed in universities and are interesting to watch, especially if you have seen her as a student.

2013: the breakdown

Amanda had a tough two or three years when news of her drug use went public. In her Paper interview, she explained that she was using Adderall to lose weight and was experimenting with various substances. This then led to his detention for drug possession in 2013.

2018: So, what's next?

You will be happy to learn that Amanda has been sober for four years and that she has taken the opportunity to study the development of derivatives at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. She graduated as an art associate this month. She also expressed the wish to design her own line in the future. But first: "I want to become an actor again," she said Paper.

You bet I will be one of the first people to watch this movie, along with others who grew up with Nickelodeon.
