West Ham face Tottenham in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.
The match comes just two days after Tottenham’s lacklustre defeat to Manchester City at Wembley and Mauricio Pochettino has stated that he will not risk first team players with another Premier League fixture to come on Saturday. West Ham will hope to take advantage after a slump of form has seen the Hammers lose momentum and take just one point from their last three games.
We will have all the latest throughout the evening in our live blog.
Chelsea vs Derby
16 mins: Chelsea 1 – 1 Derby
Waghorn gets away from Christensen and he’s in on goal, the ball gets stuck under his feet and he finds no power with the shot, Caballero making an easy save in the end. Derby should be in front that was a golden chance!
West Ham vs Tottenham
12 mins: West Ham 0 – 0 Tottenham
Christian Eriksen has a left footed shot from the centre of the box saved by Adrian, it was a good chance to put Spurs one up at the London Stadium but the scores remain level.
Chelsea vs Derby
In a nice touch there was a minute’s applause before kick-off in memory of the five people who died in the helicopter crash at Leicester City last week.
West Ham vs Tottenham
Based on Spurs’ last match against Manchester City, I think this is unlikely… there’s always hope though
Chelsea vs Derby
Who remembers this stunner from Derby’s third round victory over Manchester United? Another one of these tonight could throw the cat amongst the pigeons…
Middlesbrough vs Crystal Palace
The facts make for interesting reading in this match up between North and South.
Middlesbrough have lost their last three matches against Crystal Palace, all of them in the league with the most recent coming in the 2016/17 Premier League season.
Palace also won the League Cup match up between the sides, in September 2011, winning 2-1 at Selhurst Park.
However they have reached the League Cup quarter-final just once in their last 15 attempts, doing so in 2011/12.
Roy Hodgson also has a poor record against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, he was never won there in three previous attempts, drawing once and losing twice.
West Ham vs Tottenham
This is the second year running in which West Ham have faced Tottenham in the Carabao Cup fourth round.
Last time they came from 2-0 behind to win 3-2 at Wembley. Have they got a repeat performance in store tonight?
Preview
What time does it start?
The game is set to kick off at 7.45pm at the London Stadium.

Who’s playing?
Kyle-Walker Peters, Juan Foyth and Paolo Gazzaniga may all be offered rare starting opportunities with Tottenham’s injury hit defence desperately in need of recuperation.
What are the odds?
West Ham 9/5
Tottenham 7/5
Draw 5/2
Who’s going to win?
Tottenham 2-1: The Hammers will certainly have a strong chance of pulling off the upset, however, in potentially his last season with Spurs, Pochettino will be desperate to win silverware in England and will force the best from his young side.
