We do not know what happened, but last night, many people released cartoon versions of themselves without interruption through an app called Zepeto.
But wait, what is this application and why are people suddenly obsessed? According to the description of the Zepeto App Store, it was created by the people behind SNOW and is currently the # 1 app on iOS. You can create a 3D character of yourself by taking a selfie or shooting an existing photo. Zepeto will then generate your avatar "cuter than your favorite animation character" using facial recognition. You can also modify a little the face and its clothes according to your personality. It's as if the Sims and Bitmoji had a toddler.

Zepeto is also a social media platform on which you can follow a six-digit code and chat with your friends. You can create emojis with your avatar that you can use in the chat room. The last update is the "Photo Booth", where you can take pictures with the avatars of your friends. That's probably what you saw in all social media. I mean, people can suddenly take animated group photos without leaving the comfort of their homes. This temporarily fixes the FOMO problem. (Joke.)

There are other features such as unlocking greetings and dance moves, as well as daily quests and games that you can play with friends. Now, I understand why people can not stop using it to a certain extent.
So, is it time for us to create our own Zepeto avatars and share them on Preen.ph? Hmmm.
