WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 – Matches, tips, rumors, date and time of debut

[ad_1]

We will not mince words. WWE Super ShowDown 2019 was entirely missing, which may be a good thing, given the very good reasons not to play the fight.

So, go ahead and go up to the very first WWE Stomping Grounds, which features a host of Super ShowDown covers as well as new battles.

WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 takes place on Sunday, June 23 at 7 pm ET / 4 pm (midnight to Monday, June 24 at night) UNITED KINGDOM) the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington

A Launch show of one hour begins to 18h ET / 15h PT (23h in the UK).

What are the match cards and prognoses for the 2019 WWE Stomping Grounds?

WWE Championship: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler [Steel Cage Match]

WWE Stomping Grounds: Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler

WWE

Remember "no automatic rematch when you lose your title?" The problem these days is almost automatic rematches for a challenger when they do not win the title.

This is the first of many times SuperShow Down, but at least one of those that are twisted.

Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph "It should have been me" Ziggler once again, but this time in a steel cage.

The cage and his own match will probably move Xavier Woods and Big E away, but a cage can not prevent a potential threat from BROCK LESNAR, who must surely hope for his chance sooner or later for a cash-in.

We can end up predicting this for each PPV (and each SDLive) until WrestleMania 2020, but damn it, it must happen one day or the other.

PREDICTION: Dolph Ziggler … and a cash-in from BROCK LESNAR

WWE Women's SmackDown Championship: Bayley (c) vs Alexa Bliss

WWE Stomping Grounds: Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss

WWE

Bayley has already been defeated by Alexa Bliss.

A few years ago, when Little Miss Bliss took over Bayley's WWE Raw Women's Championship title, she not only won her title, she seemed to make her lose confidence.

The road was long and difficult to get to the top for Bayley, but she managed to get here without her best friend, Sasha Banks by her side either.

But perhaps she will need someone in her corner, Alexa Bliss having sought the support of Nikki Cross in recent weeks.

Whatever the case may be, we think Bayley will have too much for Bliss this time, but would not it be great to see Sasha Banks come back and help level the numbers game?

PREDICTION: Bayley

WWE World Championship: Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin [Special Guest Referee TBA]

WWE Stomping Grounds: Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin

WWE

Another SSD match, and another with a twist.

Baron Corbin has not managed to take WWE's universal title in Saudi Arabia, but his chances should improve theoretically this time with a handpicked referee.

The only problem is that all bar code candidates have been scared off by Seth Rollins, a marauder, and his trusty steel armchair.

So who will brave the situation and try to make a difference?

We do not see Brock Lesnar, and even Brock Lesnar, who likes to have fun at the boombox, dressed in zebra. No chance.

So we're going to go get Shane McMahon, who will do everything in his power to cancel the Beastslayer's reign.

But that will not be enough, and Seth Rollins will leave Stomping Grounds as he entered: as a WWE Universal Champion.

PREDICTION: Seth Rollins

WWE Raw Women's Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lacey Evans

WWE Stomping Grounds: Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans

WWE

Becky Two Belts has become Becky One Belt and she is very likely to become Becky No Belts here.

Another revenge (Money in the Bank this time), but despite the obvious chasm in terms of quality, we think we're upset here.

Lacey Evans barely earned her first shot of Becky Lynch, let alone a second who lost the first, but we are there.

Becky is at the top since WrestleMania, but even though the right light is still burning very hard, it can not possibly be as bright as when she ran after gold.

And Lacey Evans will try to take advantage of all the tricks of the book, some less than legal.

It will not be pretty, it will not be fair and it certainly will not be like a lady, but Lacey Evans has a chance to shock the world here.

PREDICTION: Lacey Evans

WWE United States Championship: Samoa Joe (c) against Ricochet

WWE Stomping Grounds: Samoa Joe vs. Ricochet

WWE

Poor Rey Mysterio had to surrender the WWE US title to his hated rival after being hurt by him, and Samoa Joe took pleasure in getting his hand back on gold.

After bouncing back like a hot potato, the US championship seems to be very firmly under the sway of Samoa Joe, but all that could change in a flash if Ricochet took off.

The challenger beat much bigger and stronger competitors to earn his shot. Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley, for example, have been left out of Ricochet's trajectory.

But it was in the confusion and collusion of a Fatal Five Way, and in a head-to-head match, we can not see Ricochet beating the biggest man for now, especially with a Strowman in anger likely to pass.

Joe wins, but Ricochet will certainly make a strong impression.

PREDICTION: Samoa Joe

WWE SmackDown Team Championship: Daniel Bryan and Rowan (c) vs. Heavy Machinery (Otis and Tucker)

WWE Stomping Grounds: Daniel Bryan and Rowan vs. Heavy Machinery

WWE

Daniel Bryan and Rowan have been a revelation as Tag Team Champs.

The improbable partnership impressed as a team and definitely deserves its place at the top.

The only problem is that none of the other SDLive teams are close to their level at the moment.

The closest are Otis and Tucker, but we are inclined to partner with D-Bry when he says that the Heavy Machinery duo is just not serious enough to be challenged.

The eco-warriors must stay, but Heavy Machinery will take this loss to learn from it and come back wicker, stronger and much more focused.

PREDICTION: Daniel Bryan and Rowan

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Tony Nese (c) vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak [Triple Threat Match]

WWE Stomping Grounds: Tony Nese vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak

WWE

205 Live with FOUR of the ten champions who left WWE have been remarkably consistent over the last few years.

These three wrestlers all participated in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic and have been the mainstays of the division since its debut on Raw and 205 Live.

Tony Nese is the man in possession of the ball, while Tozawa is also a former champion (although it is only for six days in 2017).

Drew Gulak has been a challenge for the belt since the first day, and it's quite an opportunity to come back to first place, even if he has to share it.

The match may be postponed to the pre-show, which is a shame, because it is also one of the best games on the card.

We are going to get Gulak to finally get the belt that has hitherto escaped, and his OTT personality to bring the division even greater recognition and cheers.

PREDICTION: Drew Gulak

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

WWE Stomping Grounds: Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

WWE

Another rematch, this time on WrestleMania 35, but this one is actually an indirect war between Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon / The Authority.

There is not much to say here that has not already been said. We have seen it once before, again and again over the last few months and weeks.

With Shane-O-Mac (and other matching morons) at his side, we'll say that Drew McIntyre has this one, which unfortunately means that the quarrel is probably far from over.

What we really need from this battle are issues and an end point: Roman Reigns vs. Shane McMahon in a losing match is referred to SummerSlam.

PREDICTION: Drew McIntyre

The new day (Big E and Xavier Woods) against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

WWE Stomping Grounds: The New Day Against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

WWE

The WILD CARD RULE means that even if they belong to different brands, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are not only united, they are instead a tag team that works.

They are fighting week after week on WWETV, which means they will not be too disadvantaged against Big E and Xavier Woods in Tacoma.

In fact, the ring rust of Big E, recently returned from an injury, will likely be a bigger factor, as will the absence of Kofi Kingston as he prepares for his last defense of the title.

So we're going to get the Yeppers, which will give both Canadians the boost they need to target Kofi (or whoever beats him) for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam.

PREDICTION: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
