TJ Watt and Diontae Johnson both missed their Week 3 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the first suffering from a groin injury and the second from a knee problem. Thankfully, it looks like they’ve come a long way in their recovery and should be able to give the Steelers a boost in their attempt to get back to the winner’s column.
As for the role of Chase Claypool, the young broad has actually starred in all three Steelers games so far and started in two. Nonetheless, an unfortunate hamstring injury on Thursday limited his participation in training. Now there are serious concerns about whether he will be ready in time to play at Lambeau Field.
For what it’s worth, however, the return of some of their best players should be good for the struggling Steelers. At 1-2 and losers in back-to-back outings, Ben Roethlisberger and Co. really need the win on Sunday to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The Steelers are bottom of AFC North, with the Bengals leading 3-1 followed by Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland browns at 2-1 each.
