A new batch of PS5 action was promised in store at GameStop this Black friday, and a few PlayStation fans were so desperate to get their hands on the next-gen console, they brought their beds and slept outside their local store for 24 hours. ABC reporter Eugene Daniel came across the desperate gamers, who revealed they skipped Thanksgiving dinner to line up.
Apparently, this was not uncommon in the US this week, as queues formed outside GameStop across the country, with the promise of new PS5 consoles drawing fans away from their families and of an oven roasted turkey. You have to respect the dedication – even though after having had so many problems, we sincerely hope that no one has come home empty-handed.
