KARE WE SPEAK OF MULTIPLE WITNESSES, TOURISTS COMING TO BALTIMORE, SOME OF THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME. They told us what they thought were 100 teenagers in the inner harbor area, which caused chaos and a jump in cars, trying to steal property. Police in Baltimore City made six arrests on Saturday night following fights involving miners near Inner Harbor. The municipal police said officers from the Inner Harbor unit had observed a large group of miners near the port around 18:30. Shortly after, police said that police had started receiving reports of minor fighting. Additional officers were summoned to the city center and made six arrests. Streets Pratt and Light. Witnesses told 11 News that "hundreds of teenagers" were jumping on cars, hitting other people and "trying to take their belongings." Karen Campbell, a reporter for WBAL-TV 11 News, reported that there was a significant police presence on Pratt and Light Streets. Witnesses told 11 News that "hundreds of teenagers" were jumping on cars, hitting other people and "trying to take their things".
No injuries have been reported.
The Emergency Management Office said that there was a significant pedestrian presence on Light Street and East Pratt near Inner Harbor, which resulted in traffic delays.
