According to the alleged victim, an identified subject smashed a window in his apartment around 4:28 p.m. on August 5 with stones or pieces of asphalt, before returning to his residence, according to footage from a nearby security camera.
– Unaddressed Janet Birch requested a police report at 6:12 p.m. on August 21 after allegedly backing up in a brown dumpster with her 2013 Chrysler 200 in the Huntington Bank parking lot and causing damage to the right side of its rear bumper.
– A vehicle was reported stolen and entered LEADS shortly after 7:03 p.m. on August 22 from the 400 block of Aten Avenue.
– Scott Whitaker, with no address listed, was arrested at 12:33 p.m. on August 21 for persistent disorderly driving in the 19th And Chester area, where officers responded to a call about a man lying in the ditch. On contact, Whitaker appeared to be drunk and showing signs of it. He was also found in possession of four pills which Whitaker said were Vicodin in a cigar pack and could not find evidence that they were prescribed. After arriving at the police department, Whitaker continued to be belligerent and kicked the door of the station. The pills will be sent to the crime lab for analysis with results that may incur additional charges.
– Patricia Defrancesco reported at 6:26 p.m. on August 22 that an Amazon driver driving a Penske truck slipped his vehicle parked in the 300 block of Highland Avenue to the side just before noon and the incident was filmed . She filed a complaint with Amazon.

– Charges may be pending regarding a brawl at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Orchard block 1700 between neighbors.
– A woman reported at 5:01 pm Friday at 800 Price Street, someone broke into her house, when nothing seemed to be missing.
– A police officer dispatched a seriously injured companion dog at 12:38 a.m. Wednesday to the 1900 block of Campground Road at the owner’s request, after responding to an injury-free accident. The man chased his dog down the road and a woman nearly hit the man, but struck the dog, causing paralysis and brain damage.
Highway Patrol
–Devon R. Ritchie, 25, Salem, was cited for OVI and Lack of Control at 3:10 a.m. on August 15. Ritchie was traveling on National Highway 11 in Fairfield Township when she exited on the left side of the road, hitting two embankments in the median.
– Christian M. Ruble, 21, Beloit, was cited for lack of control after pulling off the left side of the road as he was traveling on National Road 344 in Fairfield Township and struck a hay bale and a guy wire at 2:30 a.m. 19.
– Michael F. Mattingly, 58, Kent, was driving National Highway 7 in Saline Township when he struck a tree on the roadway at 8:51 p.m. on August 18. It was not cited because the tree was not visible before impact. .
