Two vehicle accident

BELLEFONTE – A crash involving two vehicles was investigated by State Police in Rockview on September 18.

Police said a 2011 Kenworth Freightliner driven by Christopher Huber, 60, of Mifflintown was spinning on Marie Lane in Walker Township, Center County. Police said Huber did not recognize a 2017 Nissan Sentra driven by Guadalupe Lara-Vargas, 26, of Reading, driving along Nittany Valley Drive.

The vehicles collided, causing crippling damage to the driver’s rear side of the Sentra. Huber’s vehicle sustained minimal damage. The accident took place at 11:12 a.m.

Aggravated assault

BENNER TOWNSHIP – Rockview State Police are investigating a case of aggravated assault by a prisoner.

Police say Ralph Lewis, 44, of Bellefonte assaulted a SCI-Rockview staff member on July 20. The incident took place at 8:35 a.m., police said.

Drug possession

CENTRAL HALL – A case of drug possession was investigated by state police in Rockview on September 17.

Police said a traffic stop was called along the General Potter Highway in Potter Township, Center County. Police say Tyjae Rivers, 27, of Lansdale has been arrested for several traffic violations. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found inside a 2005 GM.

The stop took place at 00:11. Charges will be laid against Rivers, police said.
