Popular Nintendo 3DS series reportedly relaunched on Switch and PS4

A popular Nintendo 3DS series would be relaunched on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, PS4, and PC. As it often does, Taiwan’s digital game rating committee disclosed a bunch of games including a pair of ports for a pair of excellent Nintendo 3DS games. According to the Taiwan Rating Committee, The grand ace attorney Chronicles – composed of The Great Ace lawyer and The Grand Ace Prosecutor 2 – arrive on the aforementioned platforms. And for now, these are the only platforms that have been rated. There is no mention of PS5 or any Xbox console.

Unfortunately, that’s all the scorecard reveals. There is no mention of a release date, however, usually, but not always, when a game is slated for release it is close to release, or at least that’s the case when the ESRB or the PEGI. Taiwan is known to evaluate games well in advance of their release, but also their announcement.

In short, while it is possible that these ratings mean that Capcom will have an official announcement soon, this assumption is far from a slam dunk. In fact, because nothing here is official and from the mouths of Capcom PR, it’s wise to take everything with a grain of salt. That said, if this all sounds familiar to you, it’s because last year’s massive Capcom leak – which is slowly but surely coming true – got the word out of these two ports.

At the time of publication, Capcom has not commented on any of this, and it is unlikely to be. Like many in the industry, Capcom maintains a fairly strict “no comment” policy regarding leaks, particularly in the variety of rating tables. If he does provide a comment, we’ll be sure to update the story accordingly.
