Police in Portland, Maine, released an important public service announcement on Monday: "To clean the air: here in Portland, laws are still applicable even when you drink claws."
"Claws", of course, refers to White Claw, the big seltz who invades the world. The slogan that followed the rise of the summer drink to fame – "It's not a law when we drink claws" – apparently triggered the message.
We've been made aware of a popular saying that says, "Do not drink laws when you drink claws" To purify the air: here in Portland, the laws apply even when you drink claws. Or drink something else. RT to keep your "brothers" out of trouble

In an article published on Tuesday, Rebecca Jennings of Vox explained the drink in the most concise way possible.
"It's water with bubbles that also contains alcohol," she wrote. "Seltzer has been very popular for a while, and now it's Seltz that gets you drunk."
