The work of adaptation of the text will be with Justin Rhodes, who wrote the new film of "The Terminator of the Future".
In "Returns", anarchy reigns in the American city of Detroit until RoboCop, a cyborg created from a former fatally injured policeman at work, returns to the city. Action to combat crime and corruption.
The original film became a cult hit over the years, but won two sequences in the 1990s without the participation of Verhoeven, Neumeier and Miner.
