A gigantic seaside resort designed by Adolf Hitler will finally open doors for tourists, after years of neglect and rebuilding.
4.5 kilometers long, this six-story resort, located along the Baltic Sea beach, on the German island of Rugel, is the sixth most compressed building in the world. The project was born in the late 1930s, idealized by Hitler as part of the "Force Through Joy" program aimed at keeping German soldiers ready for war and revitalized workers to produce
with the ability to receive 20 thousand people in 8 thousand rooms, the purpose of the original project was to welcome the Germans at affordable prices to feed the Nazi ideal . But the resort has never welcomed any guests.
The first works took place between 1936 and 1939, but were blocked by the crack of the Second World War .

But the opening of space does not go without controversy, with some concerns as to whether resort could serve as "good publicity" for the Nazi movement reported the Daily Star newspaper.
