After two decades of success in Brazil, it is now Portugal's turn to feel, for the first time, the warmth and energy of the Grande Encontro, a project that brings together three great figures from Brazilian popular music: Elba Ramalho, Alceu Valença and Geraldo Azevedo.

The show – presented on the 12th and 13th respectively at the Lisbon and Porto Coliseum – showcases the sounds of each artist, recalling the successes that have marked the career of each artist.

The show consists of three phases. "At the beginning and at the end of the show, the three will sing on stage, in the middle there will be duets and individual performances of each of us", he explained to CM Alceu Valença

with surprises for the public. "It is possible that I want to share my solo moment on stage with a Portuguese singer …" said Elba Ramalho, not wanting to advance who will be the special guest.

"The Great Encounter" was seen by more than one million people on New Year's Eve in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. The artists are now setting their highest expectations for the Lisbon and Porto concerts, since they have already played in the country (solo) and have been received in the best way, pointing out that the Portuguese public is "warm, friendly and funny".

"We are counting on this to be a wonderful thing, because we have all been to Portugal and we highly value Portuguese culture and art," said Geraldo Azevedo
