The Navy coordinated this Saturday the medical rescue by sea of a crew member who was indisposed from the coastal fishing vessel "Perola de Santa Cruz" and which was about 12 miles south of port of Funchal.
The crew member, aged 25 and originally from Caniçal, was rescued by a ship from the Harbor Master's Office in Funchal, followed by an ambulance from the Madeira Fire Brigade to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital
