The man left the highway and found himself in a state of disrepair on the 23rd national highway in Alvelos, Barcelos, and collided with another car, a BMW, where he followed a 35-year-old driver. The car was stopped in the middle of the road and the suspect tried to jump under a truck
Other drivers present at the scene prevented the young man from firing himself.
Authorities are already in place and the man was transported by ambulance to Braga Hospital with minor injuries. A GNR patrol car passed behind the ambulance to continue the investigation.
The rape suspect acknowledged to the authorities that he had committed a crime of rape.
There is, however, no warning of a violation for which the young person will be evaluated by psychiatry.
