Cuba on Saturday revealed new details on the reformulation plans of the government, the courts and the economy, with a constitutional reform, which should be approved by the National Assembly at the end of the month.

The Constitution maintains the Communist Party as the only political force in the country and asserts that the Communist state will continue to be the dominant economic force.

The Cuban authorities claim that the 1976 Constitution no longer reflects the changes made to Cuba in recent years. "The experiences gained in these years of Revolution" and "the new ways traced" by the Communist Party are some of the reasons for the reform of the Constitution, he reads in the "Granma".
