A few months before the third anniversary of the death of David Bowie, who died in January 2016, ArrábidaShopping, the shopping center of Vila Nova de Gaia, will host a photography exhibition of the British musician. The curatorship is part of David Fonseca, the composer, performer and occasional photographer who joined in 2017 several other Portuguese musicians in Bowie 70 tribute to Bowie which resulted in a record and at a show – Cristina Carrillo of Albornoz Fisac, who works with the agency from which the images come, is the co-curator.

There will be cinema, with a cycle that will begin in Portugal from David Bowie: The Last Five Years Francis Whately's documentary that focuses on the recording of the last two albums of Bowie. This exhibition is not the only event related to Bowie in September. On the 11th of this month, a newly discovered copy of the first studio recording of the British musician, made when David Jones, as he still signed it at the time, was auctioned at Omega Auctions in Newton -the-Willows, Merseyside. years, in 1963.
