Inaugurated on February 8, Dino Park – Lourinhã Dinosaur Park reached the 200,000 mark on Tuesday, achieving, in just six months, the goal set for the first year of operation [19659002] This number of visitors is due to the school holidays, the partnerships established in recent months and the range of activities that it has developed.
With 120 life-size dinosaur models, the Dino Park is the largest open-air museum in Portugal and one of the largest dinosaur theme parks in Europe. It offers a true journey of millions of years through four different routes: Paleozoic, Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous, and also offers a museum core with a treasure from the Lourinhã Museum where you can discover the finds of dinosaurs from the area and a laboratory that allows visitors to observe the preparation of fossils. On weekends it is possible to organize guided tours and various activities for the whole family.
