A young American missing more than a week ago was found in the wreck of the car at the bottom of a cliff hit by the sea in California.

The woman told the police that she had made a detour to hijack an animal and left the highway, heading for the sea. It was found by walkers a week after her disappearance , with an injury to the shoulder.
