Hundreds of people are missing in Laos after the collapse of a hydroelectric dam under construction in that country in Southeast Asia, reported the official news agency.
Official media reports that the Xepian-Xe Nam Noy hydroelectric dam in Attapeu province collapsed on Monday, releasing large quantities of water, sweeping houses and leaving more than 6600 displaced people.
