Guitarist John Frusciante has found bassist Flea at a public event for the first time since 2007. The two have gone into history with the Red Hot Chili Peppers but have not been seen in the same place since the last concert of Frusciante group, in August 2007 – the musician leaves the group, for the second and last time, in 2009.

The reunion between John Frusciante and Flea took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, United States.

John Frusciante has been reclusive since his departure from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, although he has continued to record solo albums – finally, "Trickfinger II" was released in 2017 Even at the group's induction to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012, Frusciante chose not to participate.
