The population of Odemira County submitted 73 public investment proposals as part of the 2018 participatory budget process, including 36 for the process promoted by the municipality and 37 others for the processes promoted by the 13 county parishes. The proposals will now be submitted to a technical analysis, for a subsequent vote during the month of November.

During the month of November, the vote will also be available via SMS, online via the page www.op.cm-odemira.pt and currently in the single counter of the municipality of Odemira and in all parish councils.

As part of the municipal OP, 36 proposals were presented, of a maximum value of 125 thousand euros each, spread throughout the territory of Oman and focusing on cultural projects, sports, education and leisure. The municipal PO has a total value of 500 thousand euros, divided into 250 thousand euros for projects promoted in parishes of less than 1500 inhabitants and 250 thousand euros for projects promoted in parishes with more than 1500 inhabitants.

OP parishes were submitted 37 other proposals, in the maximum amount of 10 thousand euros per parish. For the first time, the municipal OP and the parish PO, in the logic of the "Municipality of Odemira 100% OP"

are promoted simultaneously In order to increase the participation of the population, 17 meetings of participation were organized in the 13 parishes. in schools of the 2nd and 3rd Cycles of Savoia, Colos and São Teotónio, with the presence of 203 registered citizens.
