Lisbon and Albufeira are the municipalities where the government articulates with the chambers the ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages by bulldozers "in night-time entertainment areas identified as problematic by security forces".

The measure aims to enhance security in the concentration areas of bars and nightclubs, with the aim of "reducing the excessive consumption of alcohol and the level of conflict in these areas", said the Ministry of l & # 39; Interior.

The Night + Safe program provides for intervention in the municipalities of Lisbon, Porto and Albufeira. Isabel Oneto, Assistant Secretary of State and Home Affairs, reminded that the measure is already in effect in Porto and justified that these three cities were identified as those where "there is a greater degree of conflict" related nighttime entertainment.

The Ministry of the Interior leads the Night + Safe campaign, where more than 3,000 cards will be distributed to merchants, warning them of the risks associated with the sale of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age.
