Sol da Caparica returns more diverse – Culture

Cinema, theater, augmented reality and a day dedicated to children are the big news of the 5th edition of Sol da Caparica, which will take place from August 16 to 19 in Almada.

This year, the festival brings together some of the biggest names in Brazilian music, among them Jorge Palma, UHF (who has completed 40 years of career), João Gil and Sara Tavares, while strengthening country talent Portuguese speakers such as Angola, Cape Verde – with a tribute to Cesária Évora -, São Tomé and Brazil.

"Above all, it is a festival that celebrates music sung in Portuguese but not always by Portuguese," says Anselmo Ralph, who works the first day, joins veteran Jorge Palma, who promises an intimate concert and special.

"It has been said to me several times that Portuguese music has no future.

In this edition, the festival tells with an amphitheater where there will be sessions of The Augmented Reality technology will also be present at the party, which dedicates the last day to the most recent, with concerts and many attractions.
