The Bons Sons festival is almost back and it's not just about Dead Combo, Lena d'Água, Linda Martini, PAUS, First Lady, Salvador Sobral, Sara Tavares or Slow J. People of all ages are invited to live in the village of Cem Soldos and the little ones have a series of activities waiting for you between 9 and 12 August.
The more than 40 concerts on eight stages are just some of the reasons that have been thought to take visitors to the city of Tomeense. Activities are also organized for the little ones, especially in the morning, such as daily play in the Warehouse at 10:00 and 23:00, where children, accompanied by their parents, can start the first touches of music. 19659004] This initiative is developed in collaboration with the music schools of the Canto Firme Association and the Philharmonic Society Gualdim Pais. Here is also held, at 16:00, "The Workshop of the Creatures of the Portuguese Bestiary", a workshop of plastic expression on the creatures of the Portuguese Traditional Bestiary. As in previous years, Bons Sons has made available to Espaço Criança to support families and has several daily activities, such as games, gymnastics and crafts. There is also a nursery area available to parents, such as a babysitting service and a children's helmet rental.
The streets of the village receive again the Moroccan craft fair with articles of artisans and national potters from 11:00. until 22:00, and as if all this were not enough, Bons Sons has this year another stage, the "Stage Imaginary Band", at the headquarters of the Sport Operário Club of Cem Soldos (SCOCS)
. 11:00 am and 8:00 pm, texts by Johnny Almeida and illustrations by Cat Serafim, both about music, are on display. These materials also serve as motto for two workshops, a writing and an illustration, in which participants aim to build their own imaginary tapes.
Another novelty of the 2018 edition is the increase of the restaurant area, such as the camping area which offers the alternative to families living the village during the four days without getting worry about the tent because there is some available, previously assembled and of sizes adapted to the number of occupants
