Having reviewed Over 50 proposals, the jury of the Landless Shadow Prize decided to award it to "three exemplary cases" in the areas that are the pillars of the festival: the promotion of music; enhancement of the cultural heritage; and safeguard biodiversity.
According to José António Falcão, general manager of Terras sem Sombra, the choice was not easy, because "many more robust applications corresponded fully to the objectives of our project". The festival is an initiative of the Associação Pedra Angular that bets on the Alentejo as a favored destination of art and nature.

Péter Eötvös
