The festival, which takes place on November 23 and 24 in 12 halls spread along the Avenida da Liberdade, has been sponsored over the last six years by Vodafone, after the first three editions were under the management of the brewery. It is also planned to develop with the new sponsorship. "We are negotiating two more rooms for this edition, and we want to reach 16,000 people in two days," says the prosecutor, 4,000 more than last year.
Johnny Marr, of the late The Smiths, is, already, the main artist of the festival.
Elvis Perkins, son of actor Anthony Perkins, who shone like Norman Bates in "Psycho" by Alfred Hitchcock, and "The Call". Berry Berenson, a photographer killed in the attack on the Twin Towers in 2001, is another name already confirmed.
The single ticket for both days costs 40 euros until August 31, going up to 50 euros at the beginning of the festival.
