Two Blockbuster stores will close, leaving only one in the world

Blockbuster Video, a brand that has dominated the video rental industry for the year, will close two of its three stores that are still active

As the Deadline says, both stores in question are in Alaska, and today, July 16, will be the last day, they will be in operation. From this date, until the end of August, they will only be open to sell all the material in their possession.

In 2013, Blockbuster Video announced the closure of all its stores, but all three have been in business for five years. They managed to operate on the licensed market under the name Blockbuster.

In the words of the owner of these two stores, they were still profitable, and the decision to close them was made nine months ago, since the renewal of his concessions would not be financially viable
