The conviction of US agents is based on recent satellite images of a factory that produced the first missile believed to be able to reach the east coast of the United States.
"Recent accounts, including recent satellite images weeks, indicate that they are working on at least one, perhaps even two [mísseis intercontinentais] in Sanumdong, near Pyongyang," writes the US daily, citing intelligence officials who requested anonymity.
US diplomacy Mike Pompeo had already admitted to a congressional hearing that Pyongyang was still producing nuclear materials six weeks after the historic meeting between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un.
The Washington Post reports that "this new information does not suggest an increase in the capabilities of North Korea, but shows that arms development continues several weeks after President Trump wrote on Twitter q Pyongyang is no longer a "nuclear threat."
Today, North Korean and South Korean generals are meeting to discuss ways to reduce the presence of weapons and the military presence on along the border between the two countries.
The meeting, which takes place in the border town of Panmunjom, according to the South Korean Ministry of Defense, comes four days after North Korea returned the remains of soldiers Americans who had been given as missing during the war that took place on the Korean peninsula between 1950 and 1953.
