The 11the Spooky and Safe Trick or Treat, hosted by Yuma Police Department and Yuma Town with the help of Yuma County Fair Inc., takes place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Halloween at the park Yuma County Exhibitions, 2520 E. 32sd St.

Local, state, tribal and federal public safety agencies, as well as local businesses and nonprofits, will gather at the fairgrounds to offer ‘stuff or treat’.

Admission fees are $ 1 per person, with a “fast pass” available for $ 5. A hot dog, chips and water or soda combo will be available for $ 3. All purchases are cash only. All proceeds are donated to the Arizona Law Enforcement Torch Race for the Special Olympics. An ATM will be on site for those who require cash.

“This is a tradition that we have renewed for the benefit of Yuma’s children and hope to continue it for many years to come,” the Yuma Police Department said, announcing the return of the event.

On-site entertainment for those in line includes waders, dancers, makeup artist, and static display vehicles. The movie “Monsters, Inc.” will play on the big screen.
