Friends of Prince Charles have said the Prince of Wales is mortified and furious at his portrayal in The Crown. TalkRadio host Kevin O’Sullivan and royal commentator Russel Myers discussed how the Royal Family would feel about the controversy. The couple went on to discuss how Prince Harry recently signed a deal with Netflix, which made things difficult.
They agreed, if he complained about the performances, it could hurt his relationship with the streaming giant.
Mr O’Sullivan said: “Charles is apparently mortified by this and you can’t blame him after looking at how he’s portrayed.
The Crown has also been criticized for reveling in the free publicity and failing to put a disclaimer before the show started repeating that it is a work of fiction.
Mr Myers said: “There is a lot of anger surrounding the way Prince Charles and Princess Diana are portrayed, in particular.
