The Duke texted close friends a few weeks ago that he and the Duchess were expecting their second child, according to a source. The prince was described as being “on cloud nine” as he broke the news to his friends, while vowing them to keep it a secret. The source told the Daily Mirror: ‘Harry enthusiastically messaged a whole slew of his friends a few weeks ago saying Meghan was pregnant and the two were thrilled.
“He has sworn them all to keep it a secret, so he’s absolutely thrilled to finally share the news with the world.
“It was long before the weekend’s announcement.”
They added: “Harry was practically on cloud nine.
“He was so happy to let them all know and share their happiness.”
Despite the news of the pregnancy, Meghan and Harry are reportedly continuing their plans to launch their Archewell foundation in the spring.
They are expected to announce a series of charity collaborations and new podcasts on Spotify as part of the publicity around the launch.

“Archewell is a name which combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another which evokes the deep resources on which one must draw.”
A prominent Democratic strategist has claimed the foundation could pave the way for Meghan to one day pursue a political career.
