Fans of PS4 games eager to meet a new challenge today can download a demo launched just a few days ago.

Omen of pain is a fighter title with a new version available for free on the PlayStation Store.

Weighing just under 5 GB, the new demo is perfect for any PS4 hard drive and should stay on the digital platform for a while.

The full game came out on PS4 at the end of 2018 and has received many user reviews.

Metacritic is currently showing the game with 23 positive rating scores, three mixed scores and eight negative scores.

The official description of the PlayStation Store provides an overview of the horror setting and the OOS game, revealing: "Omen of Sorrow is a classic four-button 2D fighting game, with Unreal Engine 4 engine graphics, a set of characters inspired by classic horror. fantasy and mythology, and a combat system designed from the ground up to exploit the skills of players rather than statistics or chance, with deep combat mechanisms that emphasize movement and spacing compared to tight executions to provide a captivating experience professionals and newcomers!

The description does not clearly indicate what the demo limits are and if it matches the previously released limited beta before the game was fully released.

However, as the title indicates it as an "online" demo, you can expect at least some multiplayer features.

Omen of Sorrow is only the latest fighter experience to embark on the PlayStation Store, then to offer a free demo version or "Lite" in 2019.

Many other programs are available on the PlayStation Store, including Core Fighters for Dead Or Alive 6 and Dissidia Final Fantasy.

Fans can also download the current free version of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 on the PlayStation Store.
