Following unexpected stock drops earlier this week, the PlayStation 5 is once again sold out at major retailers in the United States.
Gamers received surprisingly good news on Tuesday when Amazon and Target released a limited number of PS5 Digital Edition consoles. As you might expect, however, the replenishments sold out quickly, as they have with every replenishment since launching in November.
The PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition are likely to remain elusive for gamers at least until the summer, after Sony admitted earlier this month that production is unlikely to increase in the immediate future due to ‘a shortage of components.
Here’s a breakdown of the latest PS5 restocking information from Walmart, GameStop, Target, Amazon and more.
Amazon PS5 Replenishment
The PlayStation 5 is now sold out on Amazon after being available in limited numbers at select sellers earlier this week.
The retailer unexpectedly released a small amount of PS5 Digital Edition consoles which were quickly purchased and the product is now listed as “currently unavailable” on Amazon’s website. The same goes for the standard version of the PS5, which was not part of the restocking.
Unlike other retailers, Amazon doesn’t announce its restockings in advance, but players can keep up with updates by following Twitter accounts like @ Wario64 and @GYXdeals, which often have restocking updates.

Resupplying Antonline PS5
As with other retailers, the PS5 is also unavailable at Antonline. However, the retailer has already committed to making a limited number of next-gen consoles available each week, and it’s worth keeping an eye on its social media channels to stay on top of future stock drops.

Best Buy PS5 restock
Both versions of the PS5 remain unavailable at Best Buy since the last quickly sold out replenishment earlier this month.
The retailer has yet to announce when more units will arrive, but it’s worth checking its website regularly for updates.

GameStop PS5 restock
GameStop made a limited amount of PS5 available last week as part of several bundles that included controllers and games, but all stocks have since sold out.
The retailer has alerted customers to the restocking through its Twitter account, and players should follow GameStop’s social media channels for updates on new stock drops.

Newegg PS5 replenishment
The PS5 remains unavailable at Newegg and the retailer has yet to say when the next stock will drop.
Newegg members, however, can sign up to be notified when the retailer releases more stock.

Target PS5 replenishment
Target’s last replenishment of PS5 Digital Edition quickly sold out on Tuesday and the console is no longer available.
The same goes for the standard version of the PS5, which sold out at Target since last month.
Whenever the retailer made the consoles available, the PS5s were only available online, with pickup in the car or pickup after the order was placed. There was also a limit of one console per customer.

Walmart PS5 restock
The PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition haven’t been available since Walmart’s last quickly sold out earlier in February, when the retailer made more consoles available.
Walmart has yet to announce when it will release more consoles.
