The chances of securing a PlayStation 5 remain extremely slim for gamers, with Sony’s next-gen console either sold out or available in very limited quantities at major retailers.
A combination of huge demand since the console’s launch in November and a supply shortage that made production difficult has seen both versions of the PS5 hit shelves in the past four months.
As has been the case since November, the best bet for players is to monitor the social media channels and dedicated Twitter accounts of the various retailers to be alerted to upcoming declines, then act as quickly as possible.
Here’s a breakdown of the latest PS5 restocking information from Walmart, GameStop, Target, PlayStation Direct, Amazon, and more.
Amazon PS5 Replenishment
Having been available in limited numbers at select sellers last week, the PlayStation 5 is now sold out on Amazon.
Both versions of the console are listed as “currently unavailable” on the Amazon website, with a message stating that the seller does not yet know when or if the PS5 will be back in stock.
Unlike other retailers, Amazon doesn’t announce its restockings in advance, but players can keep up with updates by following Twitter accounts like @ Wario64 and @GYXdeals, which often have restocking updates.

Resupplying Antonline PS5
The PS5 is sold out at Antonline. However, the retailer has already said on its Twitter account that it will make a limited number of next-gen consoles available each week.

Best Buy PS5 restock
Best Buy had very limited PS5 availability earlier this month, but both console versions are now sold out.
The retailer has yet to announce when more units will arrive, but it’s worth checking its website regularly for updates.

GameStop PS5 restock
GameStop made a limited amount of PS5 available last week. The consoles were part of several different bundles which have all since sold out.
The retailer has alerted customers to the restocking through its Twitter account and gamers should follow GameStop’s social media channels for updates on new stock drops.

Newegg PS5 Replenishment
Like other major retailers, Newegg no longer has PS5 and PS5 plans, but registered Newegg members can sign up to be notified when the retailer makes more consoles available.

PS Direct PS5 Replenishment
PlayStation Direct opened its queue late last week, but PS5 consoles have since sold out.
To be alerted when the queue reopens, follow dedicated PS5 replenishment accounts on Twitter such as @ Wario64, @GYXdeals, and @ PS5Updates and turn on notifications.

Target PS5 replenishment
After a limited restocking earlier this month, Target is once again sold out of PS5.
Before consoles sold out, they were only available online, with drive-thru pickup or pick-up after ordering. There was also a limit of one console per customer. Both conditions should remain in place for future restocking.

Walmart PS5 restock
The PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition have not been available since Walmart’s last restock quickly sold out earlier in February, when the retailer made more consoles available.
Walmart has yet to announce when it will release more consoles.

PopFindr PS5 and BrickSeek PS5 inventory checkers
Inventory checkers like PopFindr and BrickSeek allow shoppers to see which Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and GameStop stores have PS5s in stock.
Some stores, however, have started blocking these websites.
