Publix cancels vaccine registration for today

FLORIDA – – Publix has canceled registration for an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine for Wednesday, March 31 due to the upcoming Easter holidays.

Publix officials said appointment registration will reopen on Friday April 2 at 7 a.m.

Wednesday’s appointments were reportedly scheduled for the Easter weekend and Publix said their pharmacies would not have appointments available for the holiday weekend.

Those who have already scheduled appointments for the second dose will not be affected by the change, officials said.

Online registration typically opens at 7 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after Publix announces its schedule extension.

People 40 and older and healthcare workers can book appointments in Florida.

Publix vaccination appointments are scheduled online only through their website. Appointments cannot be made by calling Publix or Publix Pharmacy.
