Publix Expands COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Days

FLORIDA – Publix has extended COVID-19 registration from two days a week to three.

Registration will now be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting at 7 a.m.

Previously, Publix offered registration only on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Lee, Charlotte, DeSoto, and Collier County appointments will be available on the Publix vaccination registration site on designated days.

People 65 and older and healthcare workers can book appointments in several counties in Florida.

Publix advised people to do not leave the page because if space becomes available, they will automatically be redirected to a page with instructions on how to make an appointment.

Publix updated its immunization registration page to show a percentage showing appointment availability next to each county.

Vaccination appointments are scheduled online only. Appointments can do not be done by calling Publix or Publix Pharmacy.

Publix said it actively engages with customers on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Customers can also call the Publix hotline after 9 a.m. at 1-800-242-1227.
